Came here with my dog and honestly had such a good time. Super dog-friendly place and the male staff is really friendly and nice. He even let me order a hard-boiled egg for my dog, which was such a kind gesture. Service is really good, parking is free and easy, and the environment is super pretty and cosy. Food was amazing. I had the balado eggs with toast and bacon and wow, mind blown. The balado eggs were so flavourful but not too spicy, and the toast was perfectly crispy. Will definitely come back again to try other food

The food is really good, flavorful but it can feel too much after a few bites. It suits eaters with heavier tastebuds. The environment is great, easy parking! Happy that we have this neighborhood cafe here.

Sunnyside is easy to miss as you are driving by. It is useful to know that it is right beside Sunshine Bay. The copper SUNNYSIDE sign is not easy to see if you're driving. We ordered a few things and I thought the winner was the mushroom muffin. My roast beef sandwich came with a sweet mustard sauce that I think masked the original beefiness. I would give the sauce a miss or put it on the side next time. The hot salmon sandwich was a bit dry (overcooked), but the gruyere cheese egg open-faced sandwich was very rich and satisfying. No complaints on the drinks except that there were small for the price. I would return to Sunnyside but might alter my order. Loved the aesthetics. The bathroom needs a dusting and a cleaning. Other than that...great!

We were in the area for something else, so we decided to stop by for brunch. It’s been a while since I had English breakfast-style food, so this was a nice change. We ordered the breakfast plate, a sandwich, and mushroom with muffin. The food was excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. Portions were decent and satisfying. The drinks were good too, though I found them a little small, not quite enough to fully quench my thirst. One nice touch is that you can bring your pet along, but take note that pets are only allowed in the outdoor seating area. Overall, it was a great brunch spot with a cozy atmosphere and enjoyable food—definitely worth a visit if you're nearby.

Great breakfast we had here. In the morning sitting outside was cool enough. The bread with the scrambled cheesy egg was indeed special. Not cheap, but can taste the quality ingridients, taste that you can't get with local products. Cappuccino and espresso were also nice.

A new place i wanted to try after seeing the reviews online. Breakfast i choose - bread with scrambled egg Expectations- maybe the sourdough with good scrambled eggs But came in with runny eggs on the bread. Didn't expect that maybe should have asked but overall was okey to eat since it was still hot. Coffee was good but the cup is too small. Its not the pretty things we want, I just wanted a decent coffee amount for the price Very nice place though. There are parking in the cafe but limited

It was my first time coming here and I had rather high hopes for this café. The environment was rather cooling and had a cosy feel. Service was fast and speedy as we got seated quickly and the food came within 10 minutes. The latte came first and it had just the right ratio of coffee and milk, making it slightly silky. The sunnyside egg breakfast plate came first and I was a little disappointed. The portion was rather huge, but I would prefer the egg yolk to be runny. The ham was thick and nice and it was tasted pretty good with the honey coated waffles. There were also cherry tomatoes and mushrooms hidden underneath the egg, so to anyone who doesn’t like mushrooms(like me), be warned! ( it isnt as bad tho). The shokupan babi bikini was served next, and the plating was rather cute and impressive! The shokupan was crispy, but I would have preferred it to be not as sweet because the minced pork was really sweet. I would also prefer the portions to be a little larger. Last but not least, came the “Smoky and Creamy” sourdough that was absolutely amazing . The sourdough was crusty, and the mixture of eggplants, leeks, white corn and gruyere cheese was bloody good! The gruyere was irresistibly creamy, melting into the crusty sourdough, while the sweet, juicy white corn added the perfect balance. Overall not a bad experience. Would come back earlier to try their scrambled eggs.
